Roseau River Integrated Watershed Management Plan – Team Meeting

In September Peggy Bainard Acheson and John Dyck attended a public consultation session hosted by the Roseau River Integrated Watershed Management Team in Dominion City. We contributed input to the watershed management plan from NOCI’s perspective on orchid protection and conservation. The management plan is the planning document used by both the Conservation District and the province of Manitoba when setting funding priorities and implementing programming within the Roseau River watershed. Representatives from various provincial branches presented technical information on the Roseau River Watershed and then we separated into smaller break-out groups to provide our thoughts and insights into the planning document.
