On July 30th Peggy attended the Victoria Beach Country Market along with Karen Paul who was promoting the Lake Winnipeg Foundation and the Bergman prints in support of both the Lake Winnipeg Foundation and Debwendon Inc. Peggy brought the display of the opening of the Brokenhead Wetland Trail and was promoting the second edition of our book, Orchids of Manitoba, a field guide. There was a lot of interest and we sold some books and even a couple of new memberships.
On September 10th Peggy took the same display out to the craft market at Sophie’s in Hadashville. There was a lot of traffic by people going to and from cottage country. We made a few sales and talked to a lot of interested people. Next year the sale will likely be scheduled for the last weekend in August.
